Montserrat's Ocean Leaders in Global Webcast

On January 17th 2019, Montserrat's Ocean Leaders participated in a Global webcast with other ocean members and conservation groups from Tunisia, Utah, Colorado and special guest Hannah Testa from Cumming, Georgia. This was all facilitated by Afiya Williams with the help of Global Nomad and Students Rebuild, creators of this year's 'Ocean Challenge'.

The webcast focused on the hot topic of ocean pollution and how the youths can be involved. Each group spoke of how they are helping the ocean in their community or country. Participants also talked about ideas of how we all can help improve the ocean and keep it clean, as well as mitigate the use of plastic products which is one of the leading causes of ocean pollution.
