Service Description
*Mandatory for those of you who haven't snorkeled within a year **People Minimum Age: 11 years old. 11-16 year old must be accompanied by an adult. Must meet prerequisites. ** Max group: 4 persons. We love nothing more than to introduce you to the gorgeous sea turtles that visit our coastlines! We want you to fall in love with and protect them (and all other ocean life). Our prerequisites for swimming with large wild animals are intentionally strict to ensure the safety of all involved (guests, crew, and marine life). This refresher is not for folks who have never snorkeled in the ocean, lake, or pool. It is only for participants who signed up for our Citizen Science Turtle Tour and need to get up to speed because they have not snorkeled in the ocean within a year. When? Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. If you need a different day, email us, and we will do our best to arrange additional sessions. Where? Little Bay/Carr's Bay or Kayak to Rendevouz Bay(more information and directions will be provided upon booking) Duration 30-60 minutes What to bring? We supply the snorkeling gear and floatation devices, but you can always bring your own. We recommend a shirt for sun protection. Prerequisites Skills: - confident swimmer in water too deep to stand in - must have basic ocean snorkel experience - must be English-speaking - these apply to all members of your group
